Sealed and completely maintenance-free
Thanks to unique construction and sealing techniques, our SUN Battery batteries are completely sealed. The latest glass fibre fleece technology prevents premature drying out and ensures that the batteries are completely maintenance-free.
Long life
SUN Battery batteries are extremely low-gassing thanks to internal gas recombination of > 99% and, in combination with a flame-retardant standard housing material in accordance with the UL94 standard, have a particularly long service life. SUN Battery’s VdS-certified 12 V batteries have a design life of 6 to 9 years (general purpose) or 10 to 12 years (long life) in accordance with EUROBAT.
Cycle stability
Our batteries can achieve up to approx. 650 charge/discharge cycles, depending on the depth of discharge.
Wide temperature range
SUN Battery batteries can be used in a wide temperature range from -15°C to +50°C.
Storage
SUN Battery batteries have an extremely low self-discharge rate. They can be stored for up to 6 months at normal ambient temperature (20–25 °C). We recommend recharging them afterwards, as you would before any initial use.
